This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Natures own stamp of approval. In this style you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, waney edges, bows and twists, along with machine marks in keeping with the rustic style. Please note that placing your item near to a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features. 4 Hairpin Leg Colours With four colours of hairpin legs to choose from you can create a really iconic dining table. Choose to match your existing colour palette, or go for an accent colour, or very fashionable copper or brass. The hairpin legs are made from steel, which is then either spray painted with a paint colour or electro-plated with a thin layer of real copper or brass. The result is a metal leg that is strong and durable, and also looks fantastic. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. And as the wax soaks into the different grains and features, it enhances their look and brings them to life. They aren’t attached to the table on delivery and will require some assembly. But do not worry! The assembly is very quick and easy. Place the table top bottom side up. Position the legs in place. Secure the legs to the table with the fixings provided. Flip the table upright onto its legs and position where you like.
