Product Details Hand carved from sustainable mango wood, with a pretty etched edge making it functional for food preparation in the kitchen, and beautiful enough to serve food on at the dinner table. Made from sustainable mango wood. Initially grown for their fruit and harvested over a number of years, the trees are then cut down and used to make these mango wood chopping boards, among other pieces. This process enables the farmers to plant more trees to harvest for fruit, as well as providing them with a supplementary income. Specifications Material: Sustainable Mango Wood Dimensions Depth 1.8cm, Width 24cm Care: Food safe. Do not put in the dishwasher, oven or microwave. Wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. To nourish the wood rub an edible oil, such as olive oil, into the surface with a cloth. Adding oil may darken the tone of the wood.
