So how do you open it’s three drawers and two cupboard doors – they’re all fitted with push-to-open mechanisms. The solid wood sideboard is supported by black metal legs which are available as two shapes – square or trapezium. Finishes & Wax Solid Rustic Timber To make these Armstrong sideboards we select top quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine. Each sideboard is cut to size and finished in our signature rustic style. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature’s own stamp of approval. In this style you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, waney edges, bows and twists, along with sanding marks in keeping with the rustic style. These are the qualities that set our furniture apart from the rest. And due to the nature of solid wood every sideboard will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind. As we only use natural, solid timber, measurements can change slightly from one piece to another. 5 Fine Wax Finish Colours To finish our Armstrong sideboards we use your choice of one of our supreme wax polishes. The finish is professionally, and as the wax soaks into the different grains and features, it enhances their look and brings them to life. The available colours are: Walnut Teak Smoke Pine Medium Oak Rustic Pine When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Find out more about the 25-Year Guarantee, here Assembly & Care Minor Assembly Needed Our Armstrong Sideboards are delivered ‘nearly assembled’ – the two metal legs aren’t attached to the wooden sideboard on delivery. Do not worry. The assembly is very quick and easy. Place the sideboard bottom side up. Position the legs in place and secure them to the sideboard with the fixings provided. We recommend that two strong people are available to move the sideboard into your home.As these solid wood Armstrong sideboards are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing.
